Justin Hopkins started JW Safety Consulting with a simple premise: small and mid-size businesses in Arkansas deserve the same quality of safety support as large corporations — without the corporate price tag or the run-around.

Before founding JW Safety Consulting, Justin spent over a decade working as a paramedic. That career gave him something most safety consultants don't have — a firsthand understanding of what traumatic injuries actually look like, and what it costs a family and a company when someone doesn't go home at the end of the day.

He carried that perspective into the oil and gas industry, where he worked in safety-focused roles on active job sites. That environment demanded practical, no-nonsense hazard management under real operational pressure — the kind of experience that translates directly to construction and manufacturing.

Why He Started JW Safety Consulting

Justin saw a gap. Most safety consultants either cater exclusively to large companies or deliver cookie-cutter programs that look good on paper but don't reflect how a real crew actually works. He built JW Safety Consulting to be different — a consulting firm where you get someone who's been in the field, understands the pressures you're under, and gives you solutions that actually fit your operation.

He currently pursues his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health at Columbia Southern University, combining academic rigor with hands-on consulting experience.
